as i look around at people who are successful, i seem to find that there is a noticeable trait they share - they're usually good-looking. i believe that beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder, though more and more it is dictated by western media. however, in whatever country, or culture, the good looking ones are usually those who are given the best chances to be successful.
or am i just paranoid and insecure?

Hi bonvie! I don't think what you are saying is always true, although in many cases this trait is there. There are a few people I can name who aren't exceptionally good looking and yet they are quite sucessful. Not everyone may agree with me but I can think of a few people who fit under here, Bill Gates being one of them. Usually businessmen fit under this category. So don't worry it's not always the case.
