What a Great Turnaround Season

When I talk about the Miami Dolphins, I tell people that I was born a Miami Dolphin fan. I was born with a dolphin t-shirt on and had a big smile when the doctor delivered me and spanked me to start breathing. Well, now, I live in Atlanta, Georgia and have lived in Atlanta since 1970, six years after I was born in Miami. I still remember today when I was attending Highland Oaks Elementary and having a spaghetti dinner with the likes of Bob Griese, Mercury Morris and Larry Little. I remember the films that the Dolphins showed of their early years.
I also remember 2007. What a horrible season. 1-16 for the Dolphins. This was so unheard of. Then, Bill Parcells, hired on as V.P. of Football Operations, comes aboard and wipes the slate clean. This year, 2008, the Miami Dolphins went 11-5, won the division and played in their first postseason game in the longest of times. WOW! They did lose against the Baltimore Ravens, yet, they had an exceptional turnaround year. The coach was the Coach of the Year, which is so highly deserved and Todd Pennington was the comeback player of the year. What a season! It can only get better.
Congratulations to the Miami Dolphins for a great season and thanks for the memories.
What about all of the other Mylotter Dolphin Fans? Are you happy with the season, even though they made an early exit? What can make the team Superbowl bound next year?
