I love plants!! However, no matter how hard I try to nurture and care for them, they become withered and die. Even the little vines that are so easily started by breaking off a stem and setting in water. The roots begin and once I planted...it's like I'm digging their grave. My husband on the other hand can revive shrubs that are lifeless (meaning the plat is brown, no leaves and you can't even identify what type of plant it is. So, needless to say...I stay out of the yard. I did have one plant that I tried to get rid of. A poinsettia. The more I ripped that thing out of the flower bed the bigger and thicker it grew. I did not know they grew so tall. Chop it down it grows back. My uncle was finally able to get rid of it for good. No more wasting my time trying to give life to a plant that wont respond. I will stick with the fake need to be dusted frequently house decor plants. Anyone else has a black thumb? Or, are you the typical green thumb plant lover?

I used to have a green thumb in San Francisco, not my cats kill everything.
Do you over water or underwater yurt plants? maybe I can help you find the right ones to grow.

I can COMPLETELY relate. While growing up I was always surrounded by plants, flowers, and trees and watched my grandfather take care of them...for the most part so I figured now that I am older and have my own yard I can plant and maintain my own flowers, herbs, etc. Not the case at all. When my plants were starting to wilt and turn brown, I would over water them because I thought I was not watering them enough. Or if they were starting to grow and thrive I would think that they could go without water for a day or two. I refuse to give up though so I found myself the perfect plant, a little bamboo, that does not require sunlight, soil, replanting and if I forget to water it for a few days it does not die. In fact, it just does not grow that big.
