Twilight lame movie

I agree that the Twilight wasn't very well made and it probably wouldn't make much sense if you hadn't read it but if you do read it (like I did) before watching the movie, it would probably make a little more sense.

The movie isn't that hard to understand, but true, if you haven't read the books, then it would be a bit hard to follow, because they did cut out a lot of things and changed many scenes to fit in that what an hour n a half to two hour long movie. I really recommend you to read the book, if you want to truely enjoy and appreciate the movie a bit more.

I haven't read the book yet when I watched the movie but I liked it the first time I saw it. The lines were really good, as well as the sound track. It's one of my favorites now. Afterwards, I was able to read the e-book of the series and it made me appreciate it more.

Harry Potter was more action based so I think it was easier to follow the Harry Potter movies without reading the books because they just cut out some of the events that took place. But the Twilight series is about their relationship. Its not about what happens to them, although there is more action in the other books in the series. It is not the point of the series. Their relationship is the point. Having read the book, I think it was a very difficult book to put into film because their was so much in it and it was all important. You couldn't just cut out scenes because most of the scenes were significant but you could not make the movie five hours long either so they had to cut away the details, which was fine for someone who read the book first but can make it hard to follow if you have not read the book. I watched the movie first and still loved it but after reading the book I understand the significance of many of the scenes which was not clear before. It is definitely a romance series so if you are not into that you may not like the series but I think the whole series is amazing!

I haven't watched it but am planning to. Although I'm already expecting crap out of it. The Twilight book was BAD and I DID read it - I read it exactly so other people would stop bothering me. It's AWEFUL although I must admit that Stephenie Meyer improved in the succeeding books, but still not THAT well. And she kinda went back to being a bad writer based on the released (leaked) book 5. I also have read the whole Harry Potter series and I even liked it a lot. I've also seen the movies - the first movie was totally stupid although the next movies with different directors were better composed especially the third movie. Ah yes... people keep comparing Twilight with Harry Potter when Harry Potter is so much better than Twilight. I do think it was because of Twilight that they moved the showing date of Harry Potter 6 just so Harry Potter won't overshadow Twilight. But then that's just me. Haha... I think Harry Potter people are saying some other reason. Anyway i don't really like Twilight either, i just watched it because of all the hype... not that i regret watching it. =) I'm hoping New Moon will be better because it has a bigger budget and a new director.
