what do you think about this?

I know you posted this discussion 4 weeks ago, but just yesterday someone else through their 4-year-old kid off a bridge, and also yesterday, I found out that a man killed his wife and 5 kids because he was in economic trouble. I totally don't know what the world is coming to, but whatever it is (and I'm not sure I want to know) seems to be coming faster.

Sadly, as you've already pointed out there is no end to the strange and bizarre things a human being is capable of. We tend to think of ourselves as being one of the most intelligent species on the planet, but when it comes right down to it we're perhaps one of the self destructive of all. We're the only species out there will actively hurt one another for no reason. We're the only species that tries to actively destroy the environment in which we live. As your discussion points out already, perhaps the carnage a parent is able to inflict on their own children is the most incomprehensible of all. I do not know the specifics of the case which you have referred to but sadly there are many similar stories. Susan Smith, Andrea Yates and many many others, who for whatever reason harmed their own children. Those are just my thoughts on the issue, of course, if any of us had the answer for the whys of such things, we would be a very wealthy person indeed! Happy Mylotting!

yeah.sometimes we cant help but wonder what this world is coming to. Especially when you hear stories like this that are really morbid which is somwthing that you never thought could happen. people have become more and more unusual these days because of the various influences and too much freedom that they have. like you, im also wondering how worse it could get.. like the case of the father who locked up his child to be a s*x slave for 21 years..and fathers killing their children. things get really more and more morally complicated as times go by. but i know that there is still hope.

Oh, that's sick How can people be this crazy?! The only "good" thing about this is that he was pretty stupid, guess how much he has to pay now Hopefully pretty much... And a few years in prison.
