I find it very hard to drink water. If I am not thirsty I have to force it down. But study shows that water is good for the system it flushes it, so I tried to drink as many as i can. But I dont seem to be able to take in the required amount.

maybe if you put a flavor in your water it would go down easier for you and you would still be drinking water or just make apitcher of koolaid that would solve your problem and it would also flush your body out and leave some vitamins and minerals behind to help your body fight of illness.

Remember that drinking most juices and milk helps count in your water allowance as well. I am not that fond of plain water either. I do drink a lot of Crystal Light though, so I get most of my water that way, and it does not have any sugar in it, and it is only like 5 calories per serving. It also tastes really good, and I enjoy drinking it.

There are many different kinds of waters out there that have flavoring and vitamins. If you can't stomach those either then try Kool aid, it's flavored but it's also water. My fiance and I enjoy Mandarin Orange Propel as well as Kool Aid, and we have stopped drinking soda's as they are not healthy for us.

Hello willy6! We felt the same way too. I really find it hard to drink the minimum amount of water in a day. Like you, I have to force myself. Sometimes, I bought some orange juice so that I could reached the minimum amount of water a day.

I have found that if I have cold water always on hand I drink more that way. Just an idea that you may like to check into. I just use a gallon jug and refill it every time it gets low.
