Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi was known as the Nawab of Pataudi.He was a right handed batsman and led India in 40 of the 46 Test matches he played winning 12 of them for India.He is unarguably India's greatest captain ever.He took the reins of Indian Cricket when he was barely 21 and just after tha fatal car accident in which he lost an eye.He led Indian cricket out of its morass of defeatism and instilled a beleive in his fellow cricketers that winning is possible.He played from 1961 to 1975.
