I have always used internet explorer for my web browsing. I tried firefox but it did not work too well with my computer. Most of the sites I am joined with, require internet explorer anyway.

Hi Maroseqf, I really don't like IE as a internet browser, I prefer firefox. When you browsing the internet, sometimes got something you can't able to see, then firefox will lead you to download what you need to install for, but IE don't have this function. And I like firefox block pop up are effective than IE. Firefox are running smoother that IE too.

I think it depends on what site do you open. Many sites load perfectly on Firefox, but there are also some sites that will load better on IE. Have you tried IE8 beta 2? It is much more powerful than IE7.

I have been using Firefox for a long time and pretty much gave up on IE a couple of years ago.
I much prefer Firefox as I can add so many addons that make my online business life so much easier.
IE was just too far behind when I gave up on them and only keep them now to verify my web pages look okay for those who haven't given up on IE yet.

As far as I know, Firefox is much safer than IE. You can try opera also. It is much faster than firefox. It is also safe to use.

Yes, i agree with your opinion. There is many plugins available for firefox that will makes your life easier on surfing web sites. ex: you can block unwanted script with firefox plugin where virus is easily come up through web scripts. IE doesn't have this feature. You can do multiple chat with multiple hoster on firefox once you had install the plugin. And many things you can do on firefox with plugin. hail firefox!lol.
