The most dishonorable Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi reached into her bag of lies once again and pulled out her favorite line, "We'll hit the ground running"... Does anyone remember the last time she used this line? Back when she won the position of Speaker of the House. Since then she has been half of the Do Nothing Duo who stole every penny of their paychecks because they did nothing to earn them.
Now that Prs. Elect Obama is getting ready to take the oath of office, the old hag (my apologies to all the other old hags in the world, you really don't deserve the association) is stating that she actually plans to do her job.
"Tomorrow we will swear in a new Congress and we will hit the ground running on the initiatives"
So, what she is admitting to is that she and Harry Ried purposely did nothing for the last two years simply because they didn't want Prs. Bush to get any credit for anything.
In other words, The Do Nothing Duo have sold out their country for their pathetic little party.
I guess now that they got their way, they're ready to go to work. After all, the US means nothing to them... Party Uber Alles.

This is what I've been saying for the last year. Democrats like Pelosi, Reid, and Dodd, have intentionally done a crappy job so the blame could be place squarely on Bush. Now that he's out they'll actually try to do their jobs. The question is, can they actually do a good job? Being as they've proven they don't have this country's best interests at heart, I think they're much more talented at screwing things up than making things better.

The do nothing duo may not accomplish much but they have done enough to take a Strong economy and turn it into a disaster in 2 years while earning the worst approval rating of any political office in US history. A rating less than half of the horrible rating the president got. Now they have a near super majority and combine all three branches of government with the majority of the mainstream media to tell the people that Republicans have destroyed the country and only 20 years of painful surgery by taxation and regulation from Democrats will fix it. It's the New Deal 2 and will have the same effect.
