The answer is quite complex, mostly because you didn't post any info on the laptop itself.
Depending on your technical skills you have different options:
1. Try to change the motherboard by searching some broken laptop on ebay (maybe you can find one like the one you have, but with a broken screen.
2. You can think the other way round by selling your broken laptop on ebay to somebody who wants to recover his
3. Or you can think about using the spare parts, but bear in mind the following points:
- the Hard drive can be removed and used in an external usb case (but how big is the Hard drive? Maybe is really too small to worth any work)
- a laptop's cdrom can have a special connector, making it usable only on some laptops (cdrom drives (with burning features) are so cheap today that it makes no sense to use an old one.
- your LCD screen can be used only on another laptop with the same connector (not even think about the chance to change/modify the connector!)
Hope this helps

I suggest you to buy a new laptop. If you buy a new laptop you can get warranty and it will have latest configuration. If you repair your same old laptop it will cost you the same as a new laptop.
This is only my suggestion but the final decission is your's so take a good decission
