I haven't ever had a lizard in my house, or I would probably react the same way.
Although, when I was a kid growing up in the hills, I used to capture them and put them in a box or cage. I even took some to school, and we put them in an aquarium in our classroom.
Nowadays, if I see one, I will try to take a picture of it. I usually only see them when I am on vacation somewhere. I guess it is so uncommon for me to see one that I get excited and think I have to capture that moment. LOL
Thanks for starting this discussion and bringing back the memories of my childhood. Have a great day.

I have never seen one in the house, but when I see them outside, I leave them alone.. they are so much faster than I am, so they are usually gone by the time I could do anything about them.. I think that some of these small animals help bring on a balance of nature, so I leave them alone..

i dont have much problem with lizards.. but i hate to touch them or if they fall on me.. i generally try to chase them away but they hide behind one of the pictures on the wall in my house.. then i give up and go back to whatever i was doing...
