Dear friends,
I am not sure if letting my dog to eat grass is a good thing or vice versa. At the very beginning, I thought letting the dog to graze on the grass will cause them to have worms in stomach. Therefore, I have forbid my dogs to eat any.
Until today that my friend told me that he let his dogs eat grass and he mentioned that it is healthy for them. So am I wrong all this while?

I had a dog that used to eat grass and then vomit, sometimes dogs do this because they have an upset stomach. after that my dog was fine.

Not just dogs eat grass many animals do, grass is a natural remedy for animal ailments is what my vet told me and they will eat it to rid themselves of tummy aches, wind and other things. It is perfectly fine for them to eat grass and mine used to eat it all the time!!

I use to hear that this is how dogs get their medicines .I dont think that could be bad for dogs unless they eat something poisonous .As a matter of fact this could be a source of fibre which is good for his bowel movements .Consequently I wooldnt worry about it .
