my computer's physical memory is so low..........

hi, i use a pc assembled by my own .i used mercury motherboard , 2 gb ddr2 ram, 160 gb seagate hard disk . but few days back i saw my computer show only 560 mb of physical memory. plz tell me how to rectify this problem.

trry takin them out n cleanin them but do it carefull
n then plug them back in
