giving password to MSexcel file

I don't know how you have protect your xls documents. Please try in this way. After your task go to file - Save as - tols - General options - enter password to password to open and password to modify box - ok - [a new box will appear with a dialogue: reenter password to proceed] - enter password - ok - [a new dialogue will appear again.. reenter password to modify - enter the password again - ok. Your documents will now password protected. And none will be able to open the documents. Now if you want to allow all to see the documents but want to prevent him from writing ten you have to do it other wise. If you want to know it I shall inform you.

hmm there r two optisn one is to make ti readonly w/ passowrd the other is to open w/ password whcih one do u want? happy lottin and have a nice day
