I started this discussion in politics because i feel it is the politicians who are keeping the matters unsolved and alive. If the matters and disputes get resolved then these politicians will be out of work. The keep earning their bread and butter and ofcourse wine, these politicians keep these differences alive. they dont care that people are dying on both sides of the border. For them tit for tat is the only thing and the keep infusing hatred in the minds of the innocent people. When will raise above politics to resolve our disputes?

Well I once heard someone ask when the terrorist would stop attacking the western countries. Someone posted a very good answer that I think fits most war situations. It will stop when they love their children more than they hate us.

I'm not sure it's all really the current politician's fault. Much of it is still prejudice they have against each other from a long time ago. Border disputes, territory disputes, tribal disputes... It goes far back. If the people would call for an end of it all, even those who have the politicians in their pockets, it would end. But as for now, they just do all in their power to increase the hatred and even have people willingly die for their cause. Politicians can only do so much against the will of the vast majority of the people. Unfortunately, those who think differently are easily manipulated into believing the rest doesn't agree with them and nothing can be done to change things to make matters right. We, as the people, need to speak up and put the pressure on the politicians or get rid of the wrong ones in the wrong offices. We have a voice, we just have to use it.

i agree. But after the Mumbai incident on 26/11 there is alot of public anger and pressure. It almost was going to end into a Indo - Pak War. After two months have passed Indian government is still asking and asking Pakistani Government to deliver on demands. I personally believe Pakistani govt. has nothing in its control and cant do anything.

Isreal are the only ones that politicians seem to talk to. I have a very dear friend who used to be our Congressman. During his time in congress Yassar Arafat was in office. My confressman friend made the statement that we had no way of knowing what they wanted and what would help stop the conflicts unless someoen sat down and talked to Arafat. Well guess what happened - Jews mainly from New York financed the campaign of the man running against my friend and they ploughed in millions to beat him and they were successful. The man that took all the money from New York jews is still in office - not as our congressman but as our Senator so until people such as him are no longer in office nothing is going to change wherre Israel is concerned and they will be allowed to do what they want even if it means the killing of hundreds of innocent men, women and children. Let us not forget the land that Israel sits on belonged to the Palestinians.

Indians and Pakistanis are not the problem, but their politicians are. They have not had enough territory under their government rule even though the population is suffering from hunger and diseases.

It is easier to make enemy out of the population than friend for politicians. Indian and Pakistani are the the problem here but their government are.
