Do yo address him as a father, mother, neutral being, friend or others? some feminis people address god or see God as mother that protects them, some even see him as loving father, punishing father and etc.. i see him a loving father who forgives his children and as friend that you could always relate to, whenever you are.. when i pray, i usually address him as a father, and friend...

I talk to Dad as a loving Father. Because of the sacrifice of Jesus/Yashua I received the spirit of adoption and God is Love so that would be a loving Father or “Dad” I know that I can talk to Dad about everything and I do. Sometimes he answers and at other times he allows me to work things out for myself, thus allowing me to grow. I do not see any reason that I should fear my Dad as he loves me as I am and accepts me as I am although at times I still do things that he does not approve of, but as a perfect Dad, he does not throw it in my face after I ask his forgiveness. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!!!

God is as you'd like to picture him/her/it to be. Lets use the conventional male gender, without any bias to anyone. That he has made us in his own image is something that I don't accept. Humans have a number of anatomical imperfections and limitations. Also why should the human mind be able to try conceive, fathom what he looks like? I don't think a creator would have to depend upon human attributes like reward and punishment. And why should he have a kind fatherly figure and nature? I think that he is far above all these things. Maybe, just maybe, he just doesn't care?

When I address God I always refer to as a HIM. I prefer the father figure presented to me in the Bible. I fail to see God as a SHE. I see him as a loving father who wants the best for us. Now that I have become a father myself I can convey more the notion as God the father. (c) ronaldinu 2009 - the more people I meet-the more I love my dog

Hi cuttyrish! I see God as my Father, my friend and confidante. He is a loving Father and at the same time a disciplinarian. He is my Guiding Light and will always hold my hand when I fall. And when I pray, I address Him as my Dear Heavenly Father. Take care always. lovelots..faith210
