For a couple of reason I can't read a bible in one year:
1. It's too damn boring.
2. It's too long.
3. I've got better things to do.
hehe :D

Within this last year I have looked at the bible a total of 0 times. I am agnostic and I once believed in Christianity until I noticed how hateful and spiteful they seemed to be. So yea not at all.

But one knows the apple by its taste of what came before.
For once you eat the apple the taste never leaves you
and you forever more remember whether to you it was bitter or sweet
Not all apples are the same but if you hate one you might just hate the other.
Sorry don't do fruit on me. Use real life instead of food....I think that overall you know what you get from an average group of people. Having been in a Private Christian School from the age of 4 till the age of 13 I know without any doubt how they act. It never changes and it wasn't like I just went to one school. I went to two different private schools and went to church constantly but never just the same church. I went to many, Baptist, Non Denominational, Methodist, Catholic, Pres, and many others but they are all pretty much the same. Nice people with a nice facade who act fake and happy at church but are completely different at home. Never fails. So yes that is my reason so please do not go on about how everyone isn't the same. Well no duh! Its just common knowledge that most people that are a certain way or do certain things are a certain way in general.

I used to read the bible everyday until I finished reading all of it. I don't read it anymore. There are other books to read after all. Cheers!!

There's nobody to tell you the x number of times you have to read your Bible, it is between you and God and to what your heart tells you. If you are a praying christian, nobody tells you to pray x number of times, but you do pray. But we are commanded to read Gods word the Bible daily , it is in Joshua 1:8 "Do not let this Book of Law depart from your mouth, meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
