Do you think you could direct a movie?

I am a huge movie fan, and I also am involved with planning events at my job. I'm kinda like the behind the scenes guy, who knows exactly what should be taking place at certain times during a production or skit, etc... So I think I would definitely be able to deliver an award winning movie that would have everyone crying or laughing, or just excited. How about you?

I have no talent in that direction but I am good at getting things in order and having a place for everything and everything in it's place.. I can organize an entire store and my household but as for directing, I don't think that I could do it.. I believe that I am too bossy and wouldn't come off quite right, I believe in getting things done the right way, the first time and I have no patience, so I think that I would estrange more persons than I could direct.. If I did direct a movie, it would be a Comedy of Errors..

I appreciate the concern for me, but I am ok.. I have been just too busy lately and my time has been stretched as far as it will go, so I am taking a bit of time off.. I have been checking and responding to a very few, no more that 4 or 5 a day, I just can't seem to get enough time to do everything that I would like to do.. I will be back as soon as I can find the time.. Good luck and I will be back..

LoL! Even some of the best TV shows are America's Funniest Home Videos. I'm sure you could put something together that would surpass their expectations. Hope you're feeling okay, haven't heard from you in a while.

Based on the skills that you mentioned, you are probably better off as the production manager - someone who organizes stuff to make sure the whole production happens without a snitch. The director's position is really more of a creative talent, not an organizational one. It is his job to make what he sees in his head come alive, how to make that happens with the use of the camera, how to transform a scriptwriter's words into actual images. I wouldn't mind directing a stageplay (that's my first love, theater), however, I don't want to be a movie director. Although I enjoy movies, I find the art of moviemaking very tedious, very challenging, and requires a lot of patience and creativity. I think I'll just shell out the bucks for the ticket and watch the fruit of their labors.

Okay, so if I do direct a movie one day, it's nice to know you're willing to shell out the dough to come support it. LoL! Forgive the delay in this response, I got caught up into some other things, before I got the chance to come back here.

Well... I love watching movies and I want to get involved in the movie industries one day but I know my capacity and I believe that I couldn't direct a movie. I know the basic movie directing because I have been involved in a movie making in the high school but I also know that directing a movie is not easy and I would rather work in the other part, maybe small part than have to be the one who should be responsible to the big things like director.

I love watching them and I really enjoy, talking while they are on, but it makes the people I'm with go bananas wanting me to be quiet and let them and everyone else enjoy the show. I'll say things like "Don't go in the alley by yourself." "See I told you." ~ I just love having a blast!
