Do you still have your Christmas Tree up?

If so, when do you take it down. I am in the process of putting my Christmas decorations away since it is the 6th of Jan. 12 days after Christmas, and away everything goes. I'd like to say it in in honor of Epiphany, or the celebration of the Three Kings, but truth is, it is time. Hope your holidays were happy!

No that bad boy came down on Saturday after Christmas I have seven foot white pre-lit tree i don not put ant decorations on it because it takes away from the beauty of the tree.I know am strange but i can't having like that up to long.it looks out of place and i have to clean where it was.

What color are the lights? Seven feet? pretty big.

They multi colored they are really pretty and they twinkle i just love it.My kids thought i was crazy when i got it last year but now they love it to.the grands kids could care less.

how old are the grand-kids? My 8 year old wasnt bothered that we took ours down.

We just took down our tree this past Sunday. My husband took it to the mulching place so at least it gets recycled and the mulch is free to anyone who wants it. It is a service of the city. Once New Years is over I am so ready to take down the decorations. I think my son would like to keep up all year. It is so much funner to put up than take down that is for sure. My holiday was good, hoping yours was as well. Happy 2009!!!!

Thanks for the kind wishes - back atcha :-) I think most of us wouldnt mind keeping the lights us. Maybe even the tree, except for the space you get back when you put it up :-)

I usually keep mine up until the 6th of January but I took it down early this year. I have this really cute small fiber optic tree but it started making a funny noise, the motor inside that turns the fiber optic lights appears to be going so I will have to get new one for next year. I can't complain though, it's worked great for 9 years so I got a lot of use out of it. Did you put up a real tree this past Christmas?

You're right, you did get your monie's worth. I dont know if you remember, but I had a real tree every year. I finally stopped fighting the fight and got a fake one a few years back. I seriously thought about a real one this year though. Who knows, maybe next year. Ant just helped me take it down and put it up in the loft. I've got most of the dec's put away. oh, thanks for the other topic, as you saw I'm sure, I did respond :-) I love you! Did you keep your Santa suit? just joking :-)
