My makeup is very basic. I wear eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, sometimes foundation. Last year, I had makeup professionally done for my sisters wedding... I looked like a different, more attractive person, but I'm not sure I could ever invest that type of time and money.
I'm wondering, are you a makeup girl or not. What do you wear? Is it an everyday thing, or just for special occasions. What's in your makeup bag?

i used to work for Faces Cosmetics company so i used to do makeovers for people going to prom or general makeovers and my mom is a Cosmetician so ive been around makeup for a long long time LOL
but my makeup bag is also pretty simple, the more natural your makeup looks i think the better
i have bronzer, mascara, cheek highlight and lipstick as my everyday makeup. if im going to a wedding or something i'll add eyeshadow to the mix

im not sure if you've heard of Faces Cosmetics, but its pretty much the same as MAC but a lot cheaper LOL
each company has specific products that are better than other companies and they also have bad products in their line haha so it depends on what product you're looking for ya know?
but i will say, Mac is a great company and most of their products are great

There was a time in my life, when I was in my early 20's, when I could not imagine going outside of the house without fully done makeup. The horror!
Now, after years of raising a family, a lot of the fuss has fallen by the wayside. I rarely wear makeup anymore, except for special occasions.
Don't get me wrong--I love makeup, and I love the way it can transform my appearance. But when I'm pressed for time, I can only do what has to be done. Usually makeup is not high on the list.
When I do go out, my three essentials are mineral powder foundation, mascara and lipstick. If I'm going out to someplace formal or dressy I will add eyeliner, eye shadow and a hint of blush.
I have always been curious to try getting a professional makeup job sometime. I am curious to know what the professionals do differently to get that photo-ready look. One of these days I may make the investment just to try it out. In the meantime, the simpler I can keep it, the better.

LOL! Yes, very true. When you have an infant in the house, your day is a success if you manage to find time to shower.
The good news is, as the kiddies get older and more independent, it slowly becomes easier to get back into that routine, if you are so inclined. As for myself, sadly, I have probably become too lazy over the years to bother doing makeup every day. Besides, I work in a call center and people tend to be more casual. If I had a job that involved meeting people face-to-face every day, I would probably take the time to do a full makeup.
Have you ever tried doing one of those glamour shots? You know the kind--you get made up by a professional then a photograper takes your picture as if you were doing a modelling shoot. I have always wanted to try that, just to see what the glamourous me would look like.

lol, my son is only 18 months and I've already let makeup drop by the wayside.
I had my makeup done by a MAC professional for my sister's wedding and she was great. My sister had tried several makeup artists before the wedding, and she decided to go with MAC because she liked them best.

I don't wear a lot of makeup when I do put makeup on, and I probably go without any makeup at least 3 days of the week, sometimes four. Sometimes just some lip gloss will do. In fact, I don't own any lipstick. I like the sheen of lip gloss better. In my makeup bag I have the foundation/powder combo compact, with a couple of lip gloss, the brand mainly being Rimmel. And I also have an eyeliner, and mascara, although I haven't used any mascara in months.

i dont really wear make up..only when i have special events to attend. on a daily basis, the only thing i wear is powder and some lipstick to give my face some colour, that's about it..so my make up contains the minimal- pressed powder, foundation, facial blotters, concealer, lipstick/lipgloss, comb..and occasionally, blusher hehe..

I wear eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lip gloss, and sometimes a little bit of eyebrow pencil. I've had my makeup professionally done and yeah I look more glitzy, but I really don't like how garish and unnatural it looks when it's done like that. I go for a more natural look, but I love to play around with eyeshadows. I have tons of eyeshadows. I just invested in some bare minerals eyeshadows and I love them. I have always preferred loose powder shadows than cake shadows because I find you get a little more sparkle or shimmer with them and more color. I don't wear makeup too often because I'm a stay at home mom. I don't see the point in making myself up for my 5-year-old, but I do put makeup on for my husband sometimes just because and I will almost always put makeup on when I go somewhere, even it's the grocery store.

I had never worn eyebrow pencil or anything like that before my sister did my makeup and put it on me one day. I am a brunette, but I have very light eyebrows because I was born blonde. When she did my makeup, the darker eyebrows really brought out my eyes and framed my face. I bought a light brown pencil because I didn't want it to look to fake or anything. You just use a light hand and softly feather it along your brow line. You don't want to put it on heavy, just enough to add some color and fill in your eyebrows a little bit. The one I bought was cheap and it works just fine. It's worth a try for a couple of bucks. :)

Foundation, powder, blush, eyeliner. That's it I like the natural look. Since I don't work outside of my home, I usually don't wear makeup.

Hey glords! Is this question like "What's in your wallet?"
It reminded me of that commericial for some reason! Let's
see now! I wear off white eye shadow with a little brown shadow
above the eye by the crease. I wear some black eyeliner. I
wear some black mascara to lenghten my lashes. I wear a little
bit of blush to give myself some color in my cheeks! And I wear
some under eye concealer to hide my black circles. And I wear
some lip gloss of course! So that's what's in my makeup bag!

Some foundation, mascara, eyeliner and glittery lip pencil. These are my basic things I wear, I do sometimes wear more, but I really need to have both time and the feeling for it. I sometimes just feel like I wanna look extra pretty lol while other times I feel just perfect wearing just a bit of touch downs :)

I don't wear make-up very often. I am a stay-at-home mom and most days I do just that, stay at home. I wear make-up ALMOST every time we go out anywhere. In my make-up bag I have:
Liquid foundation
Pressed powder
Mascara
Lipstick
Lip gloss
Eye shadow
I keep the eye shadow even though I don't use it very often, it's just in the bag. I also keep some extras in there:
Make-up brushes
Make-up removal cloths
Eye make-up removal wash
Q-tips
Kleenex
