Would you have rather lived in the olden times?

Hey,
I have heard most of the old people say, "ahh...back in my days son, we never had television, and we used to always have to go out and work on the fields for the whooole day." And also, I kinda think that I am glad to live in the days I am right now. Back in the days their were heaps of wars, and all the other bad happenings. One reason why I am glad to live in these modern days is because of anaesthetic. If you really think of it, when ever they would have needed to go to the dentist or hospital for what ever reason, they didn't recieve any anaesthetic most of the time. That is one main reason why. Other reasons include, no TV, computer, electricity, cars, etc...Technology around then wasn't as advanced as it is now, and to tell you the truth, I couldn't have grown up and lived in the olden times! Honest! =D

hey i walked 5 miles to school "uphill". ;) but really t.v. just came out when i was born and a few years later if you wanted color you had to hold up a plastic multi color screen in front and all the colors would mingle together,what progress ! i knew we made the big time when the 1st atm came out,put in a card and pull out cash,a miracle i tell ya. it amazes me the leaps we've taken in the tech field my father had a cancer operation and lived 6 months,i had a cancerous kidney removed and i'm working on 5 years clean with the grace of god.
