So do you use the elevator or take the stairs?

I should take the stairs, but I don't. I guess I am lazy in the area of exercising. Of course, I don't normally go places where there are elevators or stairs either. Because of that, it probably wouldn't make that big of a difference if I did take the stairs.

Hey bailey~It would depend on how far up that I had to go!
If it wasn't too far I would probably take the stairs even
though I have bad knees. I don't like elevators so I would
prefer taking the stairs if I could. I don't mind getting that
extra little bit of exercise anyway! I live in a garden
apartment on the first floor so there is no elevator and we
have a few sets of steps so I do get to climb them every day!
If I am in a store where there is an escalator I try to
walk up them if there isn't a crowd too!

It depends, I guess, such as how I'm feeling at the time. Back when I was still in college (graduated last month), I would almost always take the stairs whenever I had to go to the second floor. Although I admit part of that was due to something that happened to me my second semester of college. I had used the elevator and I thought I was about to get stuck.
Funny thing is, I think I used the elevators in college maybe twice in the three and a half years after that point.
But anyway, it just depends on how I feel and where I have to go and maybe one or two other things.

Hi, baileycows
We do not have elevators in our office so I have to take the stairs. I would use elevators whenever available because I am kind of scared of the stairs. It's a sort of an accident-prone area for me . Plus, I easily get tired climbing up and down the stairs. I know I need exercise but I avoid the stairs whenever I can.
I love walking though.
Have a nice day!

Unfortunately I am unable to use the stairs at the office. My knees are not capable of climbing 5 flights of stairs. I use the elevator to get to the office. But, I do park farther away from the stores I shop at rather than find a closer spot. When shopping at a mall I walk from one end of it to the other.

It depends on the situations though. But I would prefer stairs if it's just around 2 or 3 floors. It's good exercise using the stairs. Plus it saves me time. Waiting for the elevator will eat up a few minutes. Using the stairs would take only around a minute. Really useful when you only have a 15-minute break. It would be another story if I work above the 5th floor. My first job was on the 27th floor of a building and I had no choice but to take the elevator. Well, it really depends on what you'd like and need.

Hello baileycows! It still depends upon the situation. If I'm in a hurry, I will use stairs but if not, I would use the elevator. It also depends on how many storey too. For example, if I have to go to the 9th floor or higher, probably, I will use the elevator.

Haha definitely the elevator and I rarely take the stairs unless I suddenly felt like I'm fat and becoming unhealthy. Haha
