How to disable Kaspersky 8.0?

I am using kaspersky 8.0, how to disable this, I am getting the error when i am upgrading the xp sp3.

Disabling the protection from kaspersky can be made by changing its settings. All you have to do is just go to Settings - Protection and unchecked the box which shows Enable Protection.

I have done like that only but it is not installed sp3. again it is prompting that "first disable the antivirus scanner". Even though I installed successfully, thanks

hi buddy, wht the error rare you getting ? this anti virus is hard to remove by the way you can try to remove it from add or remove tool from control panel

System restore is a best option but it may lose your sp3 files.Better not to use kaspersky because it reduces ur speed.

But I want kaspersky and sp3 how can i get, I installed successfuly, no kaspersky is very excellent, It is not reducing my system speed.
