Does a dating site anything commercailly viable

Finally thinking of building up my own site,It's nothing very big but thinking a small little dating site. i do have almost everything ready but i ma a little skeptic about it's commercial values.Can it be successful ,what is the minimum webspace required for a good site. What other factors effect the functionality of a good site. I am a novice but i know many here are experts in it, would be grateful if you could please help me and advice me.
