in a score of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how do you rate the book twilight?

i just knew that twilight book exist when the twilight movie came here in the philippines. the book itself dont have any advertisment at all her on some bookstores. and after the wild twilight movie fevr here that was the time i was informed that it was base on a book. i already bought an ebook of it and reading it today. i just want to know if the book is really different from the movie because according to my friend who read it, it was totally short-cut from the movie. and i just want to know how would you rate the goodness of the book rather than the movie. i hope youll post your answers here. thanks and happy reading.

A score of 9 is enough for Twilight for me. Because there are times when I stopped reading it because of being bored once. But still as the story continued, I found myself reading I think 6-9 chapters without me getting bored at all and also satisfied me. I think I just read it at 4 nights (i don't read when the sun is still up), well for me, 4 nights was actually an accomplishment, because I usually read books at a week maximum. After finishing it it I've waited to read new moon and because of my impatience and the fact that I want to know what will happen after twilight. I it unusual for me to read two books in a row, but in these two books, it was made possible.
Well actually, I wasn't quiet satisfied with what the movie had turned out to be. If I am a strict critic, I would grade it as a 4. But since I'm just an ordinary kid, and the fact that I understand most of it because I've read it before I've watched it here in the Philippines, I would grade it at at least 6.5.

I have yet to see the film but I admit I was intrigued by all the rave about it so I got myself an ebook copy and started reading it, I am now on the second book btw. The book is honestly for my taste average. Teenagers I would understand why they are so all over it, it's just the type of book I would have enjoyed when I was very much younger.
So I would rate it an 8. I just felt that s. meyer could have done a better job about the book. The story is there but it lacks something. I feel that it could have been written better to widen its audience not just the young adults. I stumbled onto a review of the books and you might want or not want to see it cause the one who wrote the review is not such a big fan of the book. A mylot member posted the link. So I checked it out and it was funny, for me.
