This is interesting, hiccup, yes I also follow what you did like drank a glass of water. But I will try to coughing loud so the air from my throat came out...I don't know it helps for me...Actually hiccup came since we born. My baby hiccup a lot, it happened always after he suddenly laughing and with cheeky smile and scream loud suddenly hiccup. I asked the doctor, is it ok??? she said do not worry about hiccup, because she even did not know how to solve it. But I think this is related with breathing part as well.. Not so sure... Why don't you coughing and start singing loud ^O^....Maybe It will go away.

I think consuming a little sugar might help. I myself had this problem and it is quite irritating. Then one day, somebody told me to consume sugar and it helped me quite a lot.

I know it becomes difficult and uneasy when one start getting hiccups, sometimes my son faces the same problem. If you have not tried, you may try to give him a glass of plain water, if that does not work, you may feed him some sugar or sugar cubes. Else, you may take a polythene or paper bag (a big one) in which he can adjust his mouth and ask him to breath within that bag, it is said that when you continue to do like it the carbondioxide coming from your own body, helps in stopping the hiccups. Best of Luck!

I also have done the spoonful of sugar. It helps me. I take a spoonful of sugar and drink down a glass of tap water (not real cold) as fast as I can while holding my breath. Works for me. Hope you get rid of them soon. I know how bad they can be. Happy lotting.
