i'm working with one of the big four auditing firms in the country as an associate. For now i can't really say that i'm enjoying or i'm getting bored or stressed. we are just about to experience the so called busy season this first quarter. Since i'm still new, i haven't experienced a busy season yet..according to experienced associates, they barely get enough sleep during busy seasons because they have deadlines to beat. Even their weekends need to be sacrificed. i think it has been part of the firm's culture especially in makati where the head office is at. But this year, we at the brach decided to enjoy the busy season. that means we need to break the culture and develop a new one. one doesn't have to stay late during the night working. why not help each other and get the work done earlier. One just have to practice proper time management, effectiveness and efficiency. i guess, i'll be enjoying my work this busy season rather than be stressed.

i think i am enjoying my job now than before. i have to make sure that i need to enjoy it because i have to work and do my job most of the time, i mean, i spend more hours in my job than spending it with friends and family.

I am already 10 years here, my first job and probably wont be my last. Its a lifestyle and maybe I can say that enjoying, ( well, i dont know if i enjoy beeing nagged, shouted at, yelled at and the like), hehehehe, or im just used to that kind of work im in. I love the people I work with and the somehow relaxed atmosphere even when theres so much pressure around. Surely, im going to miss the people if i will leave this company and thats another sad start for me. Im someone who is really not open to change, and im somewhat the emotional type, but if given the chance to work elsewhere I would if it would fit the vision that I have.
welcome to mylot and have a nice day friend.
take care!
