It is a worthy thing to helpothers in need but when you consider some of the people out there seeking one assistance or the other you find that almost 90% dont actually need help they onlky need to get up and do something for themselves so they can in turn help others ,i really hate it to see that i have extended a helping hand to someone who does not really need it?what makes you to help people,or should i say what motivates you to help?

I used to help people all of the time but they just used me for what they could get from me. I have to know a person is sincere and truly in need before I will help them, if I can do so. I also have to know that they are doing everything they can to help themselves also.

What motivates me to help, is having the feeling that I have done something nice for someone else, that's all it takes for me. I'm a volunteer for many groups and I love to help when possible, i have even over done it with stuff, but the feeling of knowing someone out there has something because of my helping then that's great even if it is giving a quarter to someone who needs a cup of coffee or to make a call, or giving a blanket to someone to keep them warm or maybe a pair of gloves. I have even bought a cup of coffee for someone who was sitting in front of a store that looked very cold. Bizmom24
