Rahul Dravid a great battling hero for india in india and more in abroad.
His several innings takes us to win/save test matches.
do you think that the recent off form of rahul dravid is the indication for him to take retire?
or do you feel that the time has come to retire?
Will the BCCI take the step to build a test team with out our "The Wall"?

i agree wit wat u say.. rahul dravid is a great battling hero.. but one has to understand that every person has a breaking point.. one cannot battle for the entire life.. he has done his job and he can continue by giving his experience to youngsters in the dressing room than on the field..
wen it is on pitch it is the performance that matters.
but i personally feel he should go out in a high.. i want him to save a match for India and go out with honour and not being chucked out..

rahul dravid is a great player. there is no doubt in his ability as a good player. he just lost his form. this happens for every cricketer. unfortunately this came to him at wrong time. even the worlds greatest players have gone through bad form. he is an excellent player of test cricket. he records and his heroics speak of charecter as a player. rahul had been back bone of the indian test team for so many years. he deserves to play at one down. now he has return to good form he will surely answer his critics and he will prove that he is and he will be the great wall.

Rahul Dravid has been really good for team India, but nowadays new comers in cricket team doing really good and even better than Rahul Dravid at times. So I would prefer new players in our team. It is nothing to do with retirement idea. Kapil Dev retired at the age of 35-36. Saurav Ganguli did it in the year of 2008.

"Nothing lasts forever"
Rahul Dravid a.k.a The Wall has been one of the living legends of the Indian cricket. He has got a magnificient record. He has been a player with almost perfect defence, the batsmen we could have always trust in times of need and he has almost always delivered.
Every player, no matter how great he is, has to be retired one day. No player can play forever. The thing that matters is the great players like Dravid must exit the game in a grand style. Take the example of Steve Waugh, Shane Warne, Glenn Mcgrath, they all retired with a bang. Unlike Saurav Ganguly, Waqar Younis, Abdur Razzaq or Great Wasim Akram who left the game with the sense of anger, despair or frustration for not being treated well by their respective boards.
Rahul Dravid scored a hundred in the last test match showing that he can still serve India and his experience is always valueable for the way. What I want to say is he has to retire sooner or later and he should plan all this in a grand style so that he must always be remembered in the hearts of cricketing fans...

we had waited for more than 2 tests series.... it all depends upon his performance in the next test series... if he haven't performed well in the next test series surely he have to announce his retirement... but there wont be any problem for team india if he retires because we have lot of reserve players...
