Have you been to Africa?

Next week I am going to South Africa and I can't wait. It will be my first visit there and I will be flying with my toddler son into Cape Town. We will be staying at a small guest house within walking distance of the center.
My first trip to Africa was to Tunisia and I found it to be quite like the Middle East. My second trip to Africa was to Kenya and I spent some time on the coast then went on a safari. That was like the Africa that I imagined when I was a child. It was excellent to see all the different wildlife. My third trip to Africa was to the Seychelles. The palm fringed beaches there looked like paradise.
Have you been to Africa? If so to which country or countries?
If not do you want to visit Africa. Where abouts?

Sadly I have never been to Africa, but I actually want to go next year and watch the 2010 World Cup. I hope I can raise enough money to do that.

I'd love to visit Africa some day.South Africa would be the first place I want to go.It is reported that South Africa has everything we can imagine and people there are friendly.Frankly, I dont know much about other parts of Africa,but I do know some countries have amazing attractions,and peculiar wildlife.

Living in Egypt at the moment means I am on the African continent, but it is obviously not like the Africa most of us think of! lol. I have not bee to any other parts of this continent, no. But my Sister has been to Zimbabwe and I have a close friend that stayed in Cape Town I think for around 6 months many years ago. Both of them have many positive things to say about both places. As for myself, I would definitely like to see a savannah one day with all the animals I have read about as child roaming free. I hope you have a wonderful trip to South Africa and I am sure you will come back with many memories that you will treasure forever. It is a country that has changed tremendously over the last 20 years or so and I am sure you will enjoy yourself immensely. Happy travels maximax!

Hi maximax8! I have never been to Africa but I would really want to go there if I will have the opportunity to do so. I would love to go to Kenya and see all the different wildlife. I have seen Africa only in the television and movies and in the internet. I am sure that to experience Africa for real will be an experience that will be very exciting and memorable.

I have only been to Tunisia - gosh you must be excited now! I know I would be if I was jetting off to South Africa! I'm sure you'll have a great time! x
