Emotional Abuse of Children

It is difficult in child so very young; however, pay very close attention to the childs behaviors. For instance, is the child developing normally or how does the child act around strangers? Some examples may be, the child cowards away when certain family members come into the room, the child may be extremely shy, the child may have decrease interactions with others even children of the same age.

I don't know if there is a way to tell in someone that young. Why do you ask? I dealt with emotional abuse growing up and it effected my self esteem. Its hard to tell though.
