Are you on Foodstamps? Have you ever been on Foodstamps?

I just made an appointment to try and get approved for Foodstamps, and whatever else we can get approved for. At the outside least, I'd like to get our kids onto Medicaid. With both my kids being young, I hate the fact that there is no insurance for either of them. Besides, I'd like to get my son into the doctor because my mom thinks he might be double jointed in his knees, which might be the reason he's not walking yet.

I hope I get something this time too. At least, I hope to get Medicaid.

I had my meeting with Job and Family Services this afternoon, despit the blowing snow. We got approved for Foodstamps and Medicaid. I'm so glad. I really only wanted to get the Medicaid, but not at least now I'll be able to feed my kids.

I was on foodstamps about 28 years ago when the steel mills closed and my kids were young. I agree that you should try to get foodstamps and medical coverage for your young children. It is important that they have medical care and adequate food to eat. Do what you need to do to accomplish this. Remember this is just a temporary phase in your life and things will get better. Wishing you all the luck in the world.
