She said...

I: Happy Birthday! (hug) She: Thank you (Smiling) I: So where is the party? She: it's over. A Pause Then she exploded!!!!!!! She(shouting of course): Raj, tell me who reminded you that its my birthday today? I was waiting for your call, if not you meeting me personally since 12am in the night and you, you are coming to me at 11pm asking for a party. You again forgot my birthday naaa. I didn't allowed anyone to come near the cake saying I am waiting for my friend and you, you were roaming somewhere not even taking my calls. I thought you might come up with a surprise. I kept my fingers crossed .................................... (I don't remember next lines...she kept on yelling for 15 minutes like that, and she didn't gave me anytime to speak in between). Then gave me a piece of leftover cake, said "Good night" and slammed the door on my face. Now tell me what's the big deal in wishing someone at 12 in the night or to be the first one to wish. Why is she so very upset?

That's the difference between men and women. We, the women, understand ourselves but are not understood by men

YOU are important to her more than you realise. YOU should not have forgotten. If anyone else but YOU had forgotten nothing would have been said. However YOU forgot and that's not on. It was her BIG day and she was waiting for YOU to remember.... much sooner than you did

To a lot of people, especially women, a birthday is a bid thing, and if they have a significant other in their lives, it's important that they be the first one to wish them a happy birthday. The time of birth is insignificant, and once the clock stricks midnight, it's officially their birthday. If you love them, not only will you remember their birthday, but you will be the first one to wish them a happy birthday, make sure they get a card, present, and party. I would say you may never be able to make it up to her, but also, never, ever, ever, forget another special day again, no matter what the holidays. You have to remember the date you met, her birthday, the place you spent your first date, valentines day, mother's day (if she's a mom), etc. So, unfortunately, if you remain together, if will take you a very long time to get her to forgive you, but don't ever forget anoter special day. That will definately put the final nail in your coffin.

i think THE SHE here in this situation is very emotional. maybe more emotional than you think she is. she like to celebrate with you ( i think so ) so you greeting her late made her furious. or as me reading between the lines i think she likes you more than a friend. i mean you have your reason that you greet her late but for her it was not an excuse. i think she loves you. wink wink. i think her feelings towards you is morethan friendship. thats the reason why the reaction is like that. well just my views.
