Have you ever experienced winning any Sweepstakes contest in the internet?

I wonder if there are really people who have won any Sweepstakes contest offered by several internet sites. I sometimes participate in several online Sweepstakes, where, according to the sponsors, I could win prizes, like $50, $100, $500, $1000, $5,000 and above for every entry.
I've been doing this for a while, but so far, I haven't won any prize yet. Sometimes, I even think that online sweepstakes might not be real, but it's just a way for these sites to get my information. It's because, before I'm allowed to play, I have to submit my email address and phone number.
Has anyone here have ever tried winning a prize from any online sweepstakes? I mean here, a real prize money, not just points that you must earn to exchange with tokens, gift certificates, coupons or bonuses, but it's a real money sent to you by check, paypal, wire transfer, bank to bank, or whatever means of money transfer.

I do try from time to time, but I've never won money. Once upon a time, I did win a book through a blog contest...didn't help pay any bills, but it was a good book and I've read it several times. Obviously sweepstakes are nothing you can count on, but I recommend that you try to enter online contests run by companies you're familiar with because I think they're more likely to be legitimate.

This is a website where you literally sign up, enter your information once and they enter you into ALL the sweepstakes you're eligible for AUTOMATICALLY!!
I haven't won anything yet, but its still better odds than going around entering them all yourself huh? Have fun guys!

Yes, I actually did! I won $100 from a survey panel. You take a really brief survey from HomeDecor panel about once a month and you don't get anything for it. But they do enter your name in a drawing. I think it is held quarterly.
Well, about a year and a half ago I got this email that said I had won. I almost didn't open it because of all of the spam email that says this. Then I realized who it was from.
Sure enough, it took about a month and a half, but they mailed me a $100 check. It was so cool!
I also know a friend of a friend who spends about all day online entering contests, and she has won a lot of big trips and a number of different items. Must be nice to be able to spend your whole day that way. LOL

Well, you're lucky that you won $100! At least, now I know there are Sweepstakes contests that aren't scam. I know it's not really easy to win, and probably, it's not yet my time to win. Al though, I don't join in the Sweepstakes regularly, but I remember I have joined several times already but no luck. Thank you for the reply!

Yes, I won fifty dollars from Iwon playing the wheel. When the check came I was like, :Whoa! It's real!" This happened around this time last year.
