What brand of shoes do you stick to?

I got to know the importance of shoes only recently after wearing a pair of good brand shoes. After that my feet no longer hurt, either the toes or the heels.
When going shopping, I will drop in to have a look at the various shoe stalls. The prices are still my puzzle, but the functions really amaze me. Cushion bubbles are my focus. For young people, maybe air leaking (i dont know the term) is more important. Style is also a concern. What brand do you stick to, and the reason? Please kindly advise.

Hi friend zhuhuifen, earlier I used to favour the brand 'Bata' for wearing shoes. Their shoes where such that even from the first day it felt like your own. It did not cause any problem. But at some point of time they increased prices of their product so much that as I was a student I could not afford to buy them. I shifted to another cheaper brand. But that one pair gave me a lesson for the whole life. My feet became the signboard of battle it has to make with the shoes. I just gave them up after a few months. Now after joining the job, I am using 'Woodland' brand. Their shoes are just.. just..(I cannot express). I, no my feet, are fan of them. Though they cost high, they will remain my favourite.
Happy mylotting..

I don't think I have an actual preferance but as I think about it more...all my tennis shoes are Sketchers.lol I even have a pair of Sketcher flip flops. I have to wear steel toe shoes all day long so in that catagory I buy Dr.Martians. They are almost like wearing normal shoes.

When I was in high school I pretty much stuck to addidas. I wouldnt pay a fortune for them I would just get them when they were on sale. My parents paid for them though. Now I just get whatever I can that is very inexpensive such as from payless or wal-mart. I generally dont spend of $20 on a pair of shoes.

Nike tennis shoes for everything! I went to my prom in black nikes to match my dress and white ones for my wedding. Yes, I occasionally wear actual dress shoes, but I love my tennis shoes. I love them because the arch support is great, they always fit good and I can play ball, run, exercise, or go dancing in them!
