I agree with you 100%! I think that the problem with most men is that they care too much about what their friends will think. I have a male friend who has been one of my best friends since we were 7 (now 26) and he has missing teeth, balding, completely out of proportion, still lives with his mother and works at a grocery store with no car and absolutely nothing to show for himself. He is one of the funniest guys you will ever meet with a heart of gold, but he refuses to date girls who dont go tanning, the gym, get their nails done, wear expensive clothing and wont turn his friends heads when she walks into a room. His standards are so freakin high its ridiculous especially because he is nothing to look at himself. A lot of men have this pride about them with no good reason. I mean there is nothing wrong with wanting to be physically attracted to your partner, but there are many more attractive things about a woman than what her scale reads.
