My son is 3 year old, when he can see, he love red colour. Now he want everything red. Red clothes, red shoes, to sleep in red duvet, to eat red food..... He also love to play with girl, try red shoes for girls, like singing and dancing. My husband is so worry about all his action, think he is feminize, worry about his future. I can not be sure if such age child will have the same hobby or just my son? How about your child?

First off, red is not a specific girl color (such as pink would be associated with girls). And even if it were, at 3 a child is not yet aware of that, so don't worry about that at all. My daughter is almsot 2, and she's into brown ::shrug::
Also, little girls shoes now adays come in light up, sparkles, shiny, etc. Anything and everything that can draw the eye. Boys tend to not be as "flashy". As far as singing and dancing, what 3 year old DOESNT??? Our nephew is 2&1/2, and he sleeps with several stuffed animals which he calls his "babies". He is with his mom most of the day, and the way she cares for him he likes to care for his babies. He also likes to cook at his playschool kitchen.
But he also likes to play outside, and kick balls, and ride his bigwheel. Things can't be classified as gender specific at such a young age -- a toddler is to young to be able to differenciate between what is and isn't politically correct. He just knows that the red sparkly shoes are really cool! And dancing and singing and wiggling around feels good. :)

so he likes red. No sweat. I most certainly won't make him gay. Gawd, he is only 3. Don't even worry about it. A colour preference does not mean anything. A year from now, he might only like black or brown. If liking red is the wrost of your troubles, then you are in for some smooth sailin' my friend.

I don't have any children, but I would think that red is a neutral color. Plus, I think most children that age like red because it is so bright!
My niece always liked red when she was young like that, and she still likes red to this day. She is now 21 years old. I guess she never grew out of it. Then again with her, there are a lot of things that she never grew out of. LOL
Thanks for starting this discussion, and have a great day!

Really? I don't know if this is general. But my son who is 2 years old only can say "red", red is "red",blue is "red",white is "red", all colors are "red". I think it beacuse I taught him to say red firstly and he can not distinguish red from others.
Children maybe like fresh colors so do not worry about your son.
