Yes, what Ponting did is really couragious.He has not only saved his team from being white wash,but also hold the ICC top rank.He has got a very inexperience bowling attack.more over in this very match they had two debutants.SA got 113 overs to chase only 387.thoug they had their man in form captain Greme was injoured.But this sort of reasons cannot reduce Ponting's marks.we all know god helps the braves.So Ponting is the winner.

Yes it was Ponting and Australia we have been known them to be in the last test match between Australia and South Africa.They held on the number one position and who knows they will bounce back like a wounded tiger in the forthcoming matches.

He may be brave to declare the innings just because he knows that Smith is not paying at top order or me may not play at all. Have you seen how Kallis got out in second innings and The brave ponting was to give him out even though he didn't cought it. It was grounded by the catcher. Other wise the match would have turned , and I don't know what world would be called him.

Yes Ponting took very difficult decision and this time around they are lucky also fortune favour the brave.SA should draw this match but their biggest lost is Smith if he is not injured than the result might be different and everybody blame ponting. I am the first one to indulge in Ponting bashing, but this a case he deserves to be praised.Not for his bold decision but for his correct decision. There was very little chance that SA will win, the only other option was a draw. Howvever i congradulate ponting for winning with such an inexperienced attack.And making sure that aussies remain at the top of the icc ranking
