what will you do when the neighbor said "kill you" to your baby

Maybe it is a joking ,but when i heard the neighbor said "kill you" to my baby ,i feel angry. Two babys played together and my baby caught the other's arm. And that baby's grandmother caught her granddaughter's hand by her hand and beated my baby with saying"kill you".Oh ,my god.How can the older teach her child like that? What about you,or do i think too much?

I have not married, cannot imagine what I will reflect to the threaten, maybe that is just a joke. That is not polite for the grandmother, there will be a worse influence to the other child

yes,i think so .the two babys will play together during they are growing up.If the adults meddle too much,it will influence the relations of two families.
