4 times?......typing and dont work?

i went out yesterday for the grocery and i was shocked that i did 4 times typing the pin number and dont work?then i tried again 5 times till its worked!have you experienced this?i am 9 yrs now using this card and it was my first time i was stucked up.but i am glad i told the casher to try again and it did work.it was ashamed.

Hi Bombshell, You are very lucky as here in the UK if you try three times that is it your card is voided and cannot be used again. If using in an ATM it will just steal the card from you. I am pleased to hear that you finally remembered your pin and was able to purchase your shopping. I have had blank moments like that myself and it is embarrassing like you say especially if you have been using the same pin for years. Huggles. Ellie :D

realy?....huh?but my pin number was correct but it shows false or incorrect.but i did try and try till it works 5 times.so thanks i am lucky then Ellie.so many fall inline to pay the grocery and i was only one there has a problem.it was ashame and unforgetable moments.

thats what i did, i complained to the bank but they cant answer or changing it since the expiry date is next year 2010.so maybe the line.as some of mylotters said its the phone traffic i gues

I experience issues with cash machines all the time here and I panic every time it happens too! lol. If the machine swallows my card then I'm going to have a hell time getting new ones resissued because my banks are all back in Australia. If you have had the same card for 9 years now, maybe it's time to get it replaced with a new one? It is either the magnetic strip being worn away after all this time, or you just ended up using a faulty machine. Maybe even the machine link-up to the bank itself was having problems. At least it worked in the end and the machine didn't eat your card!

hi James,i did change my card and my new one will be expired next year.so i even complained it after grocery because if it is happened like this again,its shocking right? or ashame.but they can´t answer it since the expiry date is on january 2010.dont know whats the problem.speaking of the machine eating the card
.yes i had that before because the new card arrived in the afternoon so i tried to withdraw in the morning then my card is gone.

mmmm i think the machine was jam up thats why youve must pin up your code many times.... some old and rusty machine are like that.

I have never had this problem. But recently I wrote a check at a store and the check was denied. But I used my debit card for the same account and it was approved. The cashier said it was probably because I hadn't written a check at that store for over a year. How weird is that? Glad it finally worked out for you. This can be a little embarrassing when these things happen.

yeah its was ashame so many people are waiting and my card did not work.i tried and tried til its finaly works.i dont mind if i have cash but i dont because i always depending my card.

ohhh...it happened to me recently! Mine worked successfully after the 3rd attempt! It was very embarrassing, good thing I have no one at my back! Can't believe it! LOL!
ANyway, maybe it's their machine which has some defect! LOL![/i]

i would say the strip on the card is wearing out but that wouldnt have anything to do with the pin.. maybe the machine was malfunctioning?? i know with my bank check/card i cant shop at the self check out at ANY walmart with out having to have those people come and press crap to ok it.. where as any where else its fine..
