Athough I don't know whether HIV is increasing in my country, I do know there are still a lot of HIV cases in existence. I don't think it's easy to stop it completely. What we can do is try to protect ourselves as much as possible. As for the affected people, the government should pay for their treatment, I think.

What shouldn't be stopped is the promise to fight the disease. It has been more than 3 decades since it was discovered. Yet, there is no promise that they will find the cure. To prevent the spread people must be informed of the prevention methods.

That is so sad to hear. I think the only way to stop it is to become aware and wise as to how it is contracted and use precautions to prevent it from spreading further.

The saddest thing about it is the fact that nothing is being done by the government to stop the spread of the disease. The future is affected now. What plans do they have to make way for new hopes for the future of my country.
I guess they don't need to wait for their family to be afflicted by it. If they will not do something, persons with HIV/AIDS will continue to spread the disease.

Education is the key here but many people especially our young people just don't care. Everyone knows by now what needs to be done to protect ones self, this is not a new disease, it's been around long enough. It is their choice I guess, they will pay the price later.
