independent woman

my favorite song right now is independent women remix by ne-yo and jamie foxx. they talk about how they want a woman that's independent. One that has her own and don't need their help. I'm not knocking the fact of an independent woman cuz ladies yes we need to be able to hold our own. Once that independent women gets married is she still gonna be consider independent cuz as we all know marriage mean they become one. Or does that just apply to the single women?

Wow ,that's an amazing song and my favorite song of mine too.That is how a woman should be and ne-yo has well brought out the track.This track is my ringtone ever since i began to hear it and it makes me feel proud of being a woman.Woman are always independant inour own way.i don't think there is anything thatwe cannot do.

Being married does not stop a lady independence. In some marriages the bills are split. Where the kids are concern then the husband give the wife money for them and the maintenance of the home. The wife does her own thing with respect and the husband his.
Independence is very important whether you are married yes or no. It is good that these guys sing this songs so that the younger females get back in the groove of becoming independent.

I would have to say that independence is very important to someone such as myself. I am a married woman and while being with a husband has its sacrifices which I don't mind, I would still like to think that I have a mind of my own to do the things that I would like to do as long as it stays in the confines of the marriage.
There is nothing wrong at all with independent thinking of a woman. A lot of women can make it on their own if they want to.
