Have you ever played the game Dance Dance Revolution? When my husband got his X Box 360 this is the first game I bought for it, even before his favorite game "Need For Speed: Most Wanted". I played DDR for months, hours and hours a day. I loved it. Then I sort of burnt out on it. I was somewhere between basic level and difficult level. It's quite a big transition between those 2 levels. There are only some songs I can do on difficult, although most of the songs on basic are too slow for me. Well after months of not playing it, I decided to hook it up again the other day. I'm having fun with it again. I'm sticking mostly to basic at the moment, but today I'm going to push myself to master the difficult level. Have you played this game? What did you think? What level are you currently on?

I've got Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix for Gamecube. It cost a pretty penny. $130 for a sealed version complete with dance pad. I guess it's supposed to be easier than the other DDRs. I think I'm on the third or fourth world.

That sounds interesting. I gave my gamecube to my son when we got the ps2, so that's up in his room. Now we've even given him the ps2, that's in his room also. All we have for us now is the x box 360, but we plan to get a wii soon I think.

The game is really fun and I had some fun times with DDR Hottest Party for Wii. However I beat all songs except the boss song which is a wierd song called Ninja-X I think which you have to beat on expert and is IMPOSSABLE. After that I kinda gave up on the game as I beat all the other songs on expert and almost have them memorized. I might give Hottest Party 2 a try though if they fixed the difficulty problem.

DDR - definitely one of my favorites. I bought it for my PS2 a couple of years ago, and even shelled out $200 for a metal dance pad - definitely worth every penny (I can't stand those foamy-plastic mats! Gahh!) Let me tell you, I got hooked. I think I have 6 different games, all of them played regularly. Sadly, a few months ago my mat has started to fail me - the down button rarely works anymore and it seems all hope is lost for my dance mat :( I play all songs on expert (I still fail some of the boss songs though...) and I usually play it at the arcade whenever I stop by. I love it!
