Are you in debt? Is it bad? What are you doing to fix the situation?

My husband and I are in debt. It is bad, and we're trying to get it fixed. I'm looking for other ways that might be productive for us. I'm already calling some of our CC people to activate the unemployment provision on our payment protector.

I think that there are alot of us who are in debt or going into debt and I think its only going to get worse before it gets better. Tomorrow my household is going to be 100% unemployeed. We will both be out of work and only 1 of us will be able to collect unemployment. Its scary! I can only hope and pray that eventually things are going to turn around for all of us and eventually we will be able to get out of this hole that seems to be getting deeper and deeper everyday!!!

We're doing everything we can to get us through this. I'm going to apply for foodstamps and medicaid so that at least we can eat and have insurance. My husband is trying to get his unemployment reactivated. We're both trying to get some extra money flowing in, even if it's only a little.

Yep we are too!!! We too got food stamps and it has helped out ALOT!! My husband will apply for unemployment tomorrow after his last day of work. In the mean time we just take it day by day as there really is nothing else we can do! Its tough, but what gets me through my day is knowing that we are not the only ones who are going through these tough times and I know it may sound selfish but it does help me get though the day knowing that there are ALOT of us struggleing to survive right now!!! Just keep your head up and try to stay strong!!
