Most enjoyable thing to do in winters

my favorite thing to do in winter is go downhill skiing. it's a lot of fun. i'm teaching my daughter now who is 5 and she loves it. it's a fun family activity for us to do together. i also take her ice skating and sledding on the snow hills.

Yes it would be if I didn't have 6 extremely loud kids!! Oh and the fact that they were also on winter break from school so I couldn't even go back to sleep when they left. But now they are back to school! THANK GOD! and I do rest a little more during the day, but don't sleep. I do stay home a lot more in the winter too. It just don't seem like there is anything to do in the winter. It's too cold to go for a walk, to cold to do anything outside.

I tend to sleep more in Winter as well. I love staying under the nice warm covers, and not getting out of bed. Usually I get up around 6:30 to make everyone's lunches, and then I get on my computer to start my work day (I work from home), but lately I have been going back to bed until 8:00 AM needless to say I have been less productive doing this.

Don't bother waiting for winters, sleeping is always the most enjoyable activity specially in classes. I usually eat a lot and sleep a lot in winters because as you say there is no where to go to.

I Love to go ice skating ( inside). I wish there was a place to skate outdoors but I live in the city kind of so that's out. And I really like to eat ice cream while under a blanket and drink hot chocolate right after! crazy i know but I love it.

Winter here is naturally not that chilling in comparison to other parts of the globe. But weather is very comfortable. The most enjoyable moment during this winter is to go out for a family picnic, or have fun outdoor. During the past few weeks, we have visited different places. Happy!!!

well I can't walk in the winter so I stay home as well, but I don't sleep all the time I just play on the computer like I always do, or I do my housework, or read or watch tv or work on writing assignments.

For me, it is writing on my novel and also mylotting. Of course, I can also say eating, but since I am now diabetic even that is out. You know, can't eat this, watch your blood sugar, etc. And I could say watching tv but that is out unless it is a new season of my favorite show, or I am watching my favorite romantic comedies, Christmas special romantic movies, or my favorite movies of all time, Gaslight and Sense and Sensiblity. Going out in the snow is definitely not a favorite of mine. So I would say that the favorites I listed above are all about equal.

yes its the same here too...once after having bath, dont feel like doing any work in water again...here it was raining last two days and the cold has become severe. Keeping covered in blankets, sleeping and if awake...to have hot tea, with some pakodas...ummmmmm...i enjoy it !!!

It's very cold here today. I enjoy sleeping in my cozy bed as well as you. This is the most enjoyable thing for me to do in these freezing days. If I could hibernate, it would be ideal:) I love China

Hello coolmailraj. It is very cold here today with the temperature from -1 degree centigrade to 2 degrees centigrade and it is very windy, which makes it colder. I did not get up early today though I did yesterday morning. I got at after eight thirty this morning and still wanted to sleep in my warm bed if it were not for the call.

Winter is an excellent time to enjoy life. The chill in the air is just right to help us in deciding to hide in the bed all day or be foolish enough to venture out. Lol. Whenever possible, I prefer to take it easy and enjoy life at home and catch up on reading, emails, and just plain relaxation.

I like to lay in bed ,everyone else in the house has to go out,but I lay in and keep warm under the duvet nothing nicer,get up have a warm bath then spend a couple of hours on house work then on here.Quite a nice relaxing day for me thank you very much.We are so lucky arn't we don't you think,in the summer I normally get up and moving early,but the washing is freezing on the line,it is to cold to do the garden and my housework takes hour and half max a day to do.So whats the point of getting up at seven oclock ,some old people I know pride themselves at getting up a six every morning and bragging about it in the post office I think why.most of them have retired for twenty years or more and still keep work hours I think they must be mad.I know old habits die hard ,it took me six days to adjust to not going to work anymore and I certainly don't feel guilty about it.

I think that I enjoy being indoors where it is warm and having something nice and hot to drink like coffee or tea with sugar in it. Winter is a nice time for me sometimes. I like the snow however where I am living we don't get much of it as opposed to where I used to live before.
