My grandma cooks great! But lately, my mom has been taking up the kitchen challenge because our help was sick and all that yadayadayada excuses they give. All of the meals she served were PERFECT. I never knew she had it in her because she's always been an office lady and somebody else always cooked our food :)

both my ma and grandma are great cooks. i admire my mum a lot though cause she really worked very hard to learn how to cook. she was already an adult and a married woman when she learned. the best thing about her is that she is not traditional. she is always more than willing to consider cooking food that originate from other countries

Definitlye my grandma, since she loves cooking and cooks several differnet dishes. Mu mum dosen't like ccoking very much, she cooks but she do it as a task not as something she likes. Well personally I used to love cooking however I am getting to really be like my mum :)

I have only eaten the food made by my mom as my grandma is no more. My mom cooks well but as she is an office going lady ,i often get bored by the food she make. So sometimes i myself try cooking or go out to get a change in taste.

I like food cooked by both my mother and grandmother. I think homely food are very tastier than the food from hotel and fastfood. When my grandmother was alive, every vacation all the families would get together at my grandmother's house. There were lots of children (when I was young) and it was fun to play with all of them. All the families would get together and would make different food and snacks and cookies like halwa, murukku, achappam, chips, etc. I remember most of them are filled in big big tin boxes and there were lots of good things to eat.

My mom never really cook as she depended on her helper to do it. Since I don't stay with her, I have not eaten her cooking since I moved out. My grandmother was quite a good cook but she avoided all forms of seasonings. The food she cooked was only good for her own tastebud. I am a good cook as I attended many cooking and baking classes. So I cook better than the two women before me LOL

Wow that is hard for me to answer, but I would have to say my mom cooks better and its funny because my mom learned how to cook from her mom. But as the years went by, she just tells me that she just gotten better at cooking. Now don't get me wrong, my grandma cooks really good, but she doesn't cook as healthy as my mom now does. My mom cooks healthy food and you would never think that the food was healthy.

Hello oyenkai! I have never spent more time with my grandma because she migrated to Canada when I was 5 years old. But if you will ask who cooks better whether my mom or dad, I would say my dad is the greatest cook in town. His food is the best. I can say that my mom is not a good cook. Everytime she cooked there's something missing with the taste. I guess that's what I inherited to my mom.

I dont think anyone can cook like grandma ,she just uses a lot of unique flavors and the end result is just spectacular. The other thing with grandma is that she usually gives you a lot of food and that is something you come to appreciate as a child

In my family, neither one of them are good cooks anymore. Both of them used to be, but my Grandmother no longer cooks her own meals, and my mother has been diabetic, lactose intolerant, and glucose intolerant for years now and barely cooks. When she does cook, its as if she doesn't have a taste for food anymore -- everything is bland and she uses a huge amount of olive oil which causes everyone to spend a lot of time in the bathroom!!!! My mother in law is an amazing cook though...my husband inherited the ability to make something out of nothing from her. Both of them can make a huge meal out of not very much available ingredients. She's also always cooking my favorite food (kielbasa) because she knows I love it. I'm getting hungry now just thinking about her food!

I think it's my grandma. My grandparents all bore female offsprings so that includes my mom and my aunts. They all look up to my grandmother when it comes to cooking. My mother's cooking has been not ok lately and my sister's taking over. My grandmother is long gone but her cooking remained as legacy.

Hey, my mom cooks well than my grandma. reason- grand ma is old and she does only the same old dishes. Mother cooks new dishes every day and its good to eat new dishes daily. what say? In some house, its the reverse, because mom may take rest and give all works to grandma. It happens

i think my grandma cooks better.she is a traditional chinese woman.sometimes i wonder if she has some magic as the food she cooks are so dilicous.a simple vegetable under her hands becomes a luxury.
