Ya this is the situation in India because of the strike by the trucks including the fuel transport trucks and in the same time another strike by the oil corporations staff. I think this is well planed by them. almost 80% of the pumps went dry and the inflation is went up, every work is had effect by this. Today i can't go to my college because the petrol dried in my bike. i don't know wat govt doing and when they going to end this.

It is very very bad situation. I do not know why these people are engaged in crippling the country. we are as it is reeling under the terrorist attack, global showdown and Satyam saga. Now this very cruel situation. I have somehow managed to come office today. Don't know how to go back and what will happen from Monday? These people are more dangerous than terrorists. They are damaging life of countrymen. Hope the government should take necessary steps.

See, this tells us how much we guys depend on the petroleum products. This strike should be taken as an eye opener. We people need to understand the value for preserving petroleum products and going for other alternatives.
The strike indeed has affected general life very badly. But thanks to my College vacations, I dont need to use my bike or car!

Hello,Arun! The same problem we experience in our city. All the petrol pumps are closed today. There is no petrol or diesel available.About 50% of the four wheelers and two wheelers are off the road today and if the strike of the staff of the oil companies continue for another day or two, which is likely to continue, the miseries of the people would go up.On the other hand the truck owners are on strike for the last five days for which we have been experiencing scarcity of essential commodities which we need on daily basis.Just now heard the news that the dialog between the delegation from the oil companies and government ended with no result. So I think we will have to face problem for some days more.thanx.
