I slept most of the time in Physics class.he used to say abt gravitation and i used to be asleep on bench..coz gravitational pull.
His speech and language was as if he is going on a party meeting,lenghty and boring....
he should have become aa politician rather than a teacher...
u might be thinkin i m the only person sleeping..
the position in the class was like most of the students sleeping...
some with heads down,some pretending to be writing,some like me sleeping on the bench in the middle row...
difficult to notice....

I've never properly fallen to sleep, but I always felt really tired, sleepy and heavy-eyed when in lectures! I would struggle so bad sometimes to stay awake and would usually be yawning. It would be quite awkward if my teacher saw me yawning - I would feel like I was being rude! In order to look like I was paying attention, (and therefore not fall asleep) I remember I would try and think of something interesting!!!

I never slept in any of my class. I find it very rude when someone sleeps during the class.

nope. i don't sleep in class 'cause I'm usually seated in front so my teacher would notice if I sleep.
my classmates don't usually sleep in class at all, too. well, I guess we're good students, lol!
though, I don't think it's bad at all to sleep in class. if you have a good, as in very good reason for doing it like staying late because of a class project or reviewing for a major exam. as long as you don't do it everyday.

i could never sleep in class even if i wanted to. that's because we had very small classrooms in high school and college and teachers often quickly spot those who feel like sleeping. it was embarrassing for those whose attentions were called

I have experienced feeling terribly sleepy in one of my class. But I have never attempted nor allowed myself into falling asleep. I think that it will be very discourteous for my professor, if I will sleep in the class. Even if I have only a few hour sleep from the previous night, I don't think that it's right to sleep in class. I also don't want to be humiliated by everyone in the class if I will be caught sleeping. :)
