"god is great"

People having religious faith admit "God is great". Senior citizen like your father-in-law have realised and enjoyed this fact and so repeatdly spelling out

I believe that God is great, too. Without God I would be nothing.

Yes, God is great is a oft quoted phrase millions of people use everyday. I also believe that God is Great because it gives me strength. If you say this, you have to say it all the times….not only when something nice or beneficial happens to you.

I have to agree "God id Great"! Nothing wrong with remembering this at least 20 times a day and more. Always is good to remember and praise. Happy New Year!

Yes, God is great. Nothing, I mean nothing!, can happen without him. It's just we. as people, do not always understand him and his reasons.

the greatness of god is shown in every peace of this nature then too u are confusious in it???? god is great and he is so great to make u think like this and made me answer like this, i always thought is this universe a program of a supercomputer of the great god??? are we all 3 dimentional self concerned images made in a program???? are we all bounded by the laws made by the god???

What i wrote may/may not - offend/surprise - you, nothing written here was intended to hurt anyone's feelings... please use discretion and maturity! I don't believe God exist!...forget about him/her/it being great!!! All who answered God is great!!! A question...Why do you think he is great? What is the name of your god?... How does he look?... Have you "SEEN" him doing any good to "HUMANITY" or world we live in?... Has he lost his control?... Why the world that we live in, is full of hatred, hunger and fear?... what are your God's laws?... The truth is you were told that God is Great and you believed You were told what god is and you believed You were made to think that God creates and God destroys...!!! Why destroy if first created.... For any questions that cannot be answered, you were told about some hidden meaning... some hidden purpose... and that we cannot understand his doings...!!! God gets pleased!, Gets Angry!, Gives rewards!, God punishes!, God Celebrates! God Eats!, God sleeps! All these are human qualities, attributed by some human in every religion. I carry with me the firm conviction that GOD is really great.But His ways are quite strange .His blessings come down to us in ways unimaginable to individual likes.

Hi Vidhya, Yes GOD is great. If you believe that God is there then you can feel the greatness of HIM. For that we have faith in HIM otherwise it won't be possible. People in older age get closer to GOD. Up to that time they were busy with work, look after kids and working hard for day to day needs. But after a particular age, our kids become grow up, retired from work then nothing left to do. Then it is quite natural we think more about God spend time with him through prayers etc. Some people are ready to do some charitable works because it is an easy way to reach God. I think it is man who is great because man is the one who has created God. God is the imaginary concept of man. Man is great because man has been able to create a figure that is almighty and has created such a large world.
