Do you prefer to listen music using earphones or just loud music?

I am in the internet cafe now and someone is listening to music without using earphones. It's noisy, irritating and distracting. How do you listen to music?

I usually listen to it either at a decent level when my kids are around otherwise if it's a good song and they are not around I will not hesitate to crank it up. My hubby has gotten an earful a time or two starting up his work car *LOL* But like I said I try to keep it mellow when the kids are especially around. I don't care for using earphones too much anymore as I think they've reduced my hearing a lil bit from yrs of cranking it up when I was young. But if I was in a public place as you are I would either use them or just not have any music on.

Too much of everything is not good. I was actually waiting for hubby to arrive that I just decided to stay in the internet cafe yesterday. The very loud music was really annoying and distracting.

Correct. Other people simply think of theirselves.

Music is good to release our stress and it is relaxing. All of us have different preferences or tastes when it comes to music. some of our friends may not like our music.

If I'm alone in the car or at home and want to listen to it loud, I do. When someone is with me I sure don't. It's too difficult to talk above the loud music. It would be too distracting if I was in a public place and music was blasting. Am surprised management would let it happen. When on myLot I don't listen to anything real loud. It distracts me something terrible.

The funny thing about this was that the owner was having some sound trip too but he was using headphones. I guess, he just wanted it to happen.

If I listen to music it's usually at a nice level unless it's a song that I know my fiance and his parents will also like. We don't turn out music up to loud though, but if we do we're usually told "hey that's too loud".

It's better to listen music at such a moderate tone. Too loud or too soft is not good to listen.

I prefer listening to music in such low volumes that it is audible only to me, and does not disturb others. But I'm so scared of using ear phones. I've read that, mere usage of ear phones for about an hour will increase the microbial/bacterial population in the ear by (approx)200%. But at the same tone, I would like to add that loud music is also dangerous as it can damage the ear drum and the vibrations may be too harmful that they might tear the eardrum, causing permanent hearing impairment.

Thanks for sharing some ideas. That's precisely true. Everything too much is dangerous and harmful. I hope others will be able to read the information you have supplied.

I prefer listening to my music using earphones because I prefer that other people don't know what I'm listening to and because I don't want top disturb people with my music just in case they don''t fancy it.

I only listen to music indoors but I don't like ear phones as if they are to loud you can ruin your hearing. Not only that I do house work when the music is on and it would be impossible to keep them in my ears.I hate it when people wear headphones and sing along or they you can hear that irritating buzz noise,or they so engrossed in the music they miss their stop,or nearly get knocked down because they don't look where they are going,or cannot hear the traffic.I find them as annoying as mobile phone users shouting down the bus and all those ring tones. It drives me crazy but it is part of the modern world, glad to get back to my little house in the country peace and quiet lovely.I play my music through the tv or computer so I am up with the times a bit. Some things I shall never get used to try as I might.
